What the industry ignored, I built.

My name is Demir.

I’ve spent years repairing, modifying, and reselling mechanical watches — learning how they’re built, how they fail, and what actually makes a watch feel right on the wrist.

What started as a search for a watch to gift my father slowly turned into years at the workbench. After countless failed attempts to convert movements into left-handed configurations, I realized this was a problem the industry wasn’t going to solve.

So I decided to build LEFTY.

Which movements do you use?

We rely on the precision and long-term reliability of Japanese engineering. The Valenne is powered by the Seiko (TMI) NH-Series automatic movement, known in the horological world for its "workhorse" durability and ease of service. We have already developed prototypes featuring modified Miyota 9015 and 9039 series movements for the future releases.

What materials are used in the Valenne?

We do not compromise on durability. Each case is CNC-machined from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel, offering maximum corrosion resistance. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating for ultimate clarity in any light.

Is the watch water resistant?

Yes. The Valenne is designed for daily wear and is water-resistant up to 10 ATM (100 meters). This makes it perfectly safe for rain, hand-washing, and accidental splashes, though we recommend removing it for swimming or diving to preserve the strap and seals.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship the Valenne to watch enthusiasts worldwide. Please note that for international orders outside of European Union, local customs duties or taxes may apply upon delivery.

Can I cancel or return my pre-order?

Because Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that allows us to fund the production run, we generally do not offer traditional returns. However, we stand by our quality; I personally regulate and check every watch before shipment. However if you receive a defect product, we will repair or replace it immediately under our 12-month warranty.

When will my watch be delivered?

As this is a Kickstarter launch, the production timeline is carefully planned. Once the campaign ends, manufacturing begins immediately. We estimate shipping to begin in June 2026. You will receive monthly behind-the-scenes updates on the production progress.
